the junior varsity show is not a podcast about sports.
Which makes the all-sports identity that much more intriguing. A lot of internet comedy duos barely have an intro graphic; let alone creative direction. Why not stand out and have some fun?
Tennis!
Every year, the junior varsity show selects a new sport to base their creative identity off of. The co-hosts' combined love for playing the sport inspired the aesthetic for Season 3.
Sporty-Modern
Borrowing from the sporty UI from the Apple Watch and even Nintendo Switch Sports, we were able to create upon the modern twist of sports branding.
All Round Everything
Starting from the simple tennis ball, we utilized soft geometry everywhere. Circles, rounded rectangles, etc. There was one rule: No sharp geometry! This creates a soft and inviting feel.
