Hi-Rez 2026
About
Hi-Rez is CSUN's annual graduating senior creative showcase.
This year's theme is 'Labyrinth', which celebrates the paths these students have taken, including the barriers they have overcome and the solutions they have uncovered, as they step beyond this maze and enter a new labyrinth of possibilities and opportunities.
My concept got chosen for the visual direction for the event, and I got to be the Lead Designer.

Labyrinth
The theme of this year's showcase is 'Labyrinth', a nod to the students' artistic journeys.
Isometry
An isometric-inspired moodboard was selected to determine this year's visual direction. Moodboard created by Jennifer Castaneda.
People Need People
When I think of this event, I can't help thinking of the people that will come to support all of the students. Because of that, I wanted to find a way to incorporate humans in my poster.

Participant Posters
Every year, we create posters that showcases each student.

Art Direction
The goal here was simple: Capture the student's vibe and make them look good. I created a moodboard that featured wide-lens, editorial photography.
Paths
Inspired by the Labyrinth theme, I wanted to push the idea of a simplistic 'path'. Simple grid systems scattered throughout the layout that show subtle hints and smaller pieces of a larger maze.
